Our Story

The whirlwind romance of Patrick and Megan started with a simple care package. Patrick was stationed in Afghanistan on his fourth tour with the United States Air Force. Christmas was quickly approaching so Megan and her best friend Phylicia decided to put together some care packages for the soliders filled with yummy baked goods to bring them some cheer while away from family. Megan got the chance to send Patrick a care package, shortly after she sent it she recieved a lovely thank you on facebook. They began corrisponding through e mail and Megan, not so patiently awaited his return in April. After hundreds of e mails, Patrick finally arrived home. They met at Texas Roadhouse (Patrick's favorite) to have a group dinner to welcome him and some of his friends back to the states. Once they caught a glance of one anothers smiles, they were smitten!

Megan and Patrick spent the next four days at Country Thunder, falling in love under the stars.

They both share a passion for travel and decided to take a spur of the moment trip to San Fransisco to visit Bella, Megan's sister. Once they survived 30 hours in a car together, they knew they were perfect for each other! They were inseperable! Shortly after his return from Afghanistan, Patrick recieved orders to South Korea for a year. He decided to propose to Megan knowing she was the one he wanted for the rest of his life. She happily accepted!! They have finally completed their year in Korea and are looking forward to the next year! They're excited to say their vows in front of all their loved one on March 7, 2015 and are very happy you will be a part of their special day!
